Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

“Company” means Andrews Construction Group. 


“Client” means the person or organisation accepting a quotation.

 
“Works” means the services described in the quotation.

2. Quotations

All quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

 
Quotations are based on information available at the time and may be revised if site conditions or requirements change.

 
Acceptance of a quotation constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

3. Scope of Works

Only works explicitly described in the accepted quotation are included.  
Any additional work requested by the Client will be quoted separately and must be approved before commencement.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are as stated on the quotation or invoice.

 
Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within 7 days of issue.

 
Late payments may incur interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

5. Deposits

The Company reserves the right to request a deposit prior to commencement.

 
Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been ordered or work has commenced.

6. Site Conditions & Access

The Client is responsible for providing safe, clear, and reasonable access to the site.  
The Company is not responsible for delays or additional costs arising from restricted access, hidden obstructions, or unforeseen ground conditions.

 
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, underground services are assumed to have been correctly identified by the Client.

7. Variations

Any variation to the agreed Works must be confirmed in writing.

 
Additional costs arising from variations will be charged accordingly.

8. Timescales

Start dates and completion times are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

 
The Company shall not be liable for delays caused by adverse weather, supplier delays, access issues, or events beyond its reasonable control.

6. Site Conditions & Access

The Client is responsible for providing safe, clear, and reasonable access to the site.  
The Company is not responsible for delays or additional costs arising from restricted access, hidden obstructions, or unforeseen ground conditions.

 
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, underground services are assumed to have been correctly identified by the Client.

9. Materials

All materials remain the property of the Company until paid for in full.

 
Timber is a natural product and variations in colour, grain, and appearance are normal and do not constitute defects.

10. Damage & Existing Structures

The Company is not responsible for defects or failures in existing structures adjacent to or affected by the Works.  


Reasonable care will be taken, but the Company shall not be liable for damage caused by pre-existing weaknesses or hidden conditions.

11. Warranty

Workmanship is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from completion, unless stated otherwise in writing.

 
This warranty does not cover fair wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, or third-party interference.

12. Cancellation

If the Client cancels after accepting a quotation, the Company reserves the right to charge for work completed, materials ordered, and associated costs incurred up to the date of cancellation.

13. Liability

The Company’s total liability shall be limited to the value of the Works carried out.  
The Company shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
